HELP KEEP US GOING!

Crossroads Comedy Theater is now a nonprofit organization! This means if you donate to our 501(c)(3) company, you can then deduct that donation from your taxes. We can also accept bequests, devises, and transfers or gifts according to the letter received. So, if you know any wealthy philanthropists with a love of the arts and a soft spot for comedy and arts education, let them know about us! We will also accept donations in the form of entire buildings that we can use as a space for classes and performances. But why should you?

Crossroads Comedy Theater is an Indianapolis based performing arts and arts education company operating in Indianapolis and Philadelphia. Since our formation in 2021, we have trained over 800 students in longform improv, musical improv, stand-up, comedy writing, storytelling, clowning, acting, and more. We have produced over 500 hours of original comedy performances online, on Philly stages, and coming soon to Indianapolis!

We are looking for funding to help cover costs associated with:

HOW YOUR DONATION HELPS

  • Ongoing Operations

This includes our current one person admin team, event staff, website maintenance, subscription payments, etc.

  • Student Aid Program

We strive to create an experience that is inclusive and affordable for all. Everyone should get to experience the benefits and fun of a Crossroads class.

  • Affordable Tickets

Shows are coming to Indy at some point and we want to make sure tickets are affordable! Reasonable base prices, discounts, and pay what you can tickets are common with us.

  • Community Partnerships

We routinely partner with museums, libraries, small businesses, and other nonprofit organizations as a reduced rate for performances or workshops. Your donation allows us to do this without while still taking care of ourselves and our staff.

  • Crossroads Indy Home

We love all the venues we rent from, but we would absolutely be over the moon to have our own location. This is the single biggest thing holding us back, but we're not rushing into anything. We have a small checklist not the least of which the space needs to be accessible to all and affordable. We are a nonprofit, but nothing in that means we can't be successful.

  • And Much More!

We're a teeny nonprofit with big plans. You can make those a reality.
